p4ce Layering
Many of the features in p4ce have been copied from n4ce. One such feature is the layering of detail, but here we have gone one better than its bigger brother.  We use the tabbed screen to move between these layered options.

p4ce is project based with different levels of detail shown as branches off a Project Tree, shown opposite.

Backcloths are CAD detail.  Only one can be present for a particular project and is generally used for setting out.

Stations are those either entered manually or picked up as part of the survey process.

Surveys contain station setup detail.  These are stored interms of Hz, Vt and Sd converted into coordinates for display purposes.

Feature coding can generate Points, Lines, Text, Shapes and/or Symbols.  These can be turned off irrespective of layers they fall on.  This is also a powerful feature in n4ce.

Where p4ce score over its bigger brother is  the layering by codes.  For example you can turn off oll the BB and TB codes which represent tops and bottoms of banks without affecting other detail.

Text is a problem with such a small screen display.  This will appear in p4ce horizontally, at a fixed size.  It is expected that displays shown here are for reference and not as a final presentation.  ie export to n4ce or other packages for this.
