Geo9 & XCES Shows April 2009
 29/04/09
AiC attended both these shows, held in April 2009. Many new and old clients visited our stand to see the latest offerings from AiC, including 4Site - our AutoCAD Based data capture software which was being launched at both shows.

Erik Schuetz of Penmap.com joined us at Geo9 in Coventry where he demonstrated their latest handheld - very iphone like. Nice one Erik!

At XCES in York we were joined on the stand by Mark Stanley of Intermap. AiC has been working with Intermap to create optimised terrian models (OTM). With up to 80% reduction in density of these data tiles, without significant degredation, these are ideal for many 3D applications especially VR visualisations. Data can be provided in various formats including DWG.

Also joining us at York were Mike Bachinski and Darcy Detlor of Micorsurveyor who were demonstrating their Field Genius software.

AiC would like to congratulate ICES on its inaugural event. The show was a big success, with the evening meal and entertainments - just brilliant!

The picture above is very rare. It's Mike Case demonstrating n4ce at XCES!

John Strodachs gave a presentation at one of the XCES seminars with his thoughts on data capture - a main topic on this years AiC stand.

The crak was good at both events, especially with our close neighbours Ormtec. Same place next year guys?
