n4ce Feature Editing Options Features exist in n4ce because of the feature Code Table and feature coding of your survey. The feature Code Table is comprehensive allocating Layers, Colours, Styles, Sizes and other Attributes to Points, Lines, Symbols, Shapes, and Text items. Clearly, we have to provide tools here that allow you to edit these items, and then some more as you will see! Please note the Query Point option can be used as a mini-editor.
We like to think that experienced users will be able to view their survey as it will appear when they download their survey. Ideally, this should be up to 90% complete so the tools provided should be finishing off the remaining 10%.

The n4ce Professional features menu shown opposite contains many of the options in the Lite editions with additions including Design features and extensions to the Lines, Symbols and Shapes sub-menu options.

Two very helpful options is the ability to check for Undefined and/or Used Codes. |

There are individual sub-menu options for editing Lines, Symbols and Shapes. The Lines sub-menu is shown opposite. Since the Professional edition has access to the Dedicated CAD Backcloth, all of these sub-menus have a Commit to CAD option.
The Lines menu has Split, Extend (all), Intersection and Rectangle options. The Rectangle options are useful if you are surveying a box shape structure and can only see limited corners.
The 3 Points option calculates the width of the rectangle and regenerates the missing points with levels calculated by fitting a plane to the three points. |
What makes the Professional edition stand out from the Lite edition is the access to specialist tools. Examples are shown here with the introduction of design tools.
No longer are you restricted to showing surveyed detail, but you may generate detail of your own and more importantly modify this to your own needs.
The options Grade, Densify and Heights either add additional points or modify levels. The options Chainages, Bearings and Radii add Dimensions to points that can be accessed using Text Macros or Tables. |

The Batter and Surface Intersection options are discussed elsewhere, see Design Tools. |
