This new software allows users to edit their codes and layers outside n4ce, and makes changes en-mass. The revised codelists and layers can then be saved back over the master defaults or to new userdefined files for use with different clients.

When the code table reporter starts it automatically checks your current configuration for problems and dispalys any problems in a report window.

For users of LEICA equipment, the code table can also be exported to an IDEX file, which can be imported into either Leica Survey or Geo office, and then hence for uploading onto their various instruments.

The code table editor has been developed under Microsofts new developmnent environment called the .NET Framework. This is installed by default with most new PC's (Dec 2004 onwards) or it can be downloaded and installed by following this link.
