4Site Survey In-Field Data Capture Software

AiC is working with Penmap.com to remove much of the tedium when Surveying with 4Site, an AutoCAD plug-in. There is no downloading, transferring, adjusting and reformatting of survey information, everything is processed internally. Drawings can therefore be created, edited and updated whilst still in the field.
As soon as an angle/distance measurement is taken, or a GPS reading recorded, the software automatically converts the data into the local XYZ co-ordinate system of the drawing. It is simply a matter of deciding what to do with the information you record. Your existing survey equipment effectively becomes an advanced digitizer. |

Irrespective of whether you are working in GPS or Total Station mode, all you need to do is choose between surveying in AutoCAD objects such as Points, Polylines and Blocks or alternatively a coded approach using BB, TB, SH etc, where instead the code automatically generates detail for you

4Site is specifically targeted at the
GIS and Survey professional who prefers to keep everything in the environment they are familiar with, namely AutoCAD. Every effort has been made to keep the interface as AutoCAD like as possible. There is no uncomfortable change between switching to a digitizing mode, after previously zooming/panning, and drawing detail in your normal day to day processes.
